MATTHEW SCHULTZ - DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Matthew Schultz is the Director of Operations of LINC Houston, Inc. Matthew joined the executive staff of LINC Houston in January 2015. In this role, Matthew oversees all business operation of LINC Houston, including fundraising, finances, facilities, legal, HR, and marketing.
Prior to joining LINC Houston, Matthew was a Management Consultant for an international consulting firm, where he travelled the United States teaching Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike how to better manage their people and resources. Matthew began his career on the staff of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Houston, Texas where he was Director of Recreation Ministries. While at Gloria Dei, he was asked to take the role of Executive Director of CORE Alliance, a faith-based non-profit disaster relief organization. Matthew oversaw relief efforts for Hurricane Ike and the 2010 Haiti Earthquake.
Matthew is a graduate of Concordia University Texas where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Matthew is married to his high school sweetheart Jennifer, and they have two boys, Christopher and Alexander. Matthew’s main hobby is coaching youth basketball. Matthew has also taken up genealogy, tracing his family roots back to the 15th century.
Matthew is passionate about seeing people’s gifts used to help those who are in need, be that spiritually or physically. From urban Houston to the slums of Port-au-Prince, Matthew has spent his life using his gifts to ensure basic human needs are met, and dignity restored through the love of Christ and his Church.
